Independent Legal Advice

Professional guidance from a lawyer, ensuring unbiased and objective legal assistance. This is usually a one-off piece of advice, often connected with a mortgage or other secured lending and is required by the lender to ensure that someone who may be affected by the lending, but may not be the primary borrower, is fully aware of the implementations prior to signing any documents.

SWEARING OF STATUTORY DECLARATIONS

A statutory declaration is a document setting out a series of facts or circumstances that the person making that declaration confirms are true. These are usually used to satisfy some sort of legal requirement where no other evidence is available. Statutory declarations must be signed in the presence of a solicitor, commissioner for oaths or notary public.

Certification of Documents

Legal certification ensures the authenticity of copies of original documents, ensuring their validity for official or legal purposes. As there is no limit to the number of certifies copies that can be taken, these are a useful way to meet legal or administrative requirements, without having to part with important original documents.

LAND REGISTRY ID1S

The Land Registry Form ID1 is used to prove the identity of a party to a legal property transaction where that individual is not legally represented. The Land Registry requires that these are completed by a very limited range of professionals, including solicitors in order to confirm their validity.
