Making a Difference: Amicus law's Commitment to CSR
CHARITY OF THE YEAR 2025/2026
Mind in Somerset, Dorset Mind and Devon Mind
At Amicus Law, supporting our communities and the wellbeing of those around us is at the heart of what we do. Each year, we invite our team to nominate and vote for a charity that matters to them — and we’re proud to announce that Mind has been chosen as our Charity of the Year for 2025/2026.
Mind provides vital mental health support across the UK, and this year we’ll be working closely with three local branches: Mind in Somerset, Dorset Mind, and Devon Mind. Through this partnership, we’ll be raising awareness, fundraising, and supporting initiatives that promote better mental health and wellbeing — both within our firm and across the communities we serve.
We look forward to a meaningful year of collaboration, and to making a real difference together.

At Amicus Law, our commitment to supporting both our people and our communities goes beyond the legal work we do. That’s why I’m incredibly proud that our team has chosen Mind as our Charity of the Year for 2025/2026.
Mental health affects every one of us — whether directly or through someone we care about. It influences how we think, feel, work, and connect with others. And yet, for many, accessing the right support can still be difficult. That’s where organisations like Mind make a real difference.
Mind provides essential mental health services, advice, and advocacy, and we’re pleased to be working with their local branches in Somerset, Dorset and Devon. These teams are delivering frontline support in our own communities — helping individuals manage mental health challenges, stay connected, and feel heard.
As a firm, we recognise the role we can play not only in raising funds, but also in raising awareness. By supporting Mind, we aim to open up conversations, reduce stigma, and ensure that mental health remains a priority — both in the workplace and beyond.
We look forward to working closely with Mind over the coming year and hope that our efforts, large and small, will help support the vital work they do every day.

Other charities we support
“St Margaret’s Hospice Care has been at the heart of the Somerset community for more than 40 years, providing expert and compassionate care for patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses. It is an absolute pleasure and a privilege to have the support of Amicus Law. They have supported us for many years, they bring fun and enthusiasm to all our events and are a valued member of our Corporate Team.”
Kerry Baillie, Community Partnerships Manager
“We are so grateful for the generous support of Amicus Law to our annual Cream Tea in a Box deliveries in June and our Diva Lunch in October. Action Medical Research is a UK-wide charity funding vital research to help sick and disabled babies, children and young people. Their support has made such a difference to our fundraising capabilities to carry on this important work.”

At Amicus Law, we are deeply committed to giving back to our community and supporting vital causes. Throughout the year, our team actively participates in a variety of charity events and community initiatives, including supporting Cancer Research, Action Medical Research, Love Musgrove, Petherton Folk Festival, Foodbanks and Comic Relief. We also proudly support local football teams with kit sponsorship.
These events not only help raise funds and awareness for important issues but also bring us closer to the people and places we serve. We invite you to explore our gallery and witness the passion, dedication, and impact of our collective efforts in making a positive difference.
