Erin began her career as an Office Junior, before becoming a secretary and then a Paralegal, working in Criminal Law, General Civil Litigation and Wills and Probate. Erin developed an interest in Personal Injury law and has worked in Personal Injury since 2016. Erin qualified as a lawyer with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives with a specialism in Civil Litigation.
Erin represents clients with a variety of circumstances and injuries, including fatal accident claims, traumatic amputation claims and claims for accidents that have resulted in permanent disabilities.
Erin made the decision to join Amicus Law as she wanted to work for a firm with the utmost commitment and professional service offered to clients, while remaining approachable and human.
Erin is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
Awards and Appointments
In June 2024 Erin was appointed to the Executive Committee of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, allowing her to become involved in legal reforms and campaigns to better support injured people. Erin has also received the following recognition for her work:-
– Shortlisted for the Chartered Legal Executive of the Year Award at the Devon and Somerset Law Society Awards 2024
– Winner of the Young Achiever of the Year Award at the Personal Injury Awards 2024
Outside of work Erin enjoys singing with her band and performing with local theatre groups. She is also a keen reader, with her very own “library” in her home that could rival a bookshop.
