Having originally qualified as a barrister in London, Stephen went on to work as a Corporate Tax Lawyer at Wragge & Co. in Birmingham before cross-qualifying as a solicitor and returning to the Southwest, where he was born and raised. He joined Amicus Law in 2017 and specialises in Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, drawing on his understanding of both tax and complex family arrangements. He also oversees the firm’s compliance and client care functions.
Stephen is currently serving as the President of the Devon and Somerset Law Society for the period 2024-2025.
Outside of work, Stephen has an interest in vintage cars and motorcycles and enjoys playing the guitar (badly).
