Ellie Parker is a Legal Assistant based in our Weymouth office, supporting the Family Law team with a focus on private family matters, including Legal Aid cases.
Ellie previously worked in medical negligence and has since transitioned into family law, where she enjoys the variety and complexity that each case brings. She values the opportunity to learn something new every day and is committed to building a strong foundation as she works towards her long-term goal of qualifying as a solicitor.
She is known for her friendly and approachable manner, while always maintaining a professional standard of care for clients. Ellie understands that family law matters can be highly sensitive and takes pride in supporting clients with empathy, clarity and professionalism throughout their legal journey.
Ellie joined Amicus Law due to the firm’s breadth of expertise across multiple practice areas, its presence across several locations, and the clear pathways it offers for career development and further legal qualifications.
Alongside her role at Amicus Law, Ellie is currently completing her Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree with the Open University and is due to graduate in summer 2026. She has already achieved a distinction in contract law.
Outside of work, Ellie is a keen dog lover and enjoys gaming whenever she can find the time.
