Claire qualified as a solicitor in 1999 with a large regional law firm, specialising in commercial property. She has since gained experience in all types of property work and has led teams in both high volume conveyancing and traditional high street practices. More recently Claire worked with major construction projects and managed large property portfolios as Head of Corporate Property for Somerset County Council and now leads the Property Department for AmicusLaw covering both residential and commercial property.
Claire took on the role of Managing Partner in 2021 after nearly two decades in management roles. She has an MBA from the Open University, achieved while working full time and bringing up a young family and is also a qualified Business Coach.
Claire sits on the Non-Contentious Business Committee of the Devon and Somerset Law Society and is chair of the Climate Change Committee.
Claire’s pragmatic and friendly approach is valued by both clients and colleagues.
