Ryan Ho is an Associate based in the Exeter office at Amicus Law, specialising in Corporate and Commercial law. Building on his business degree, Ryan pursued a career in law and has developed particular expertise in the healthcare sector, including veterinary practices, dental businesses and care homes. His experience includes working at both a boutique mergers and acquisitions firm and a larger regional law firm.
Ryan takes a client-focused approach, taking the time to understand each client, their business and their long-term goals. He works closely with clients throughout transactions, providing clear guidance, keeping matters on track and robustly protecting their interests when needed.
Ryan was drawn to Amicus Law by its close-working teams and commitment to excellence.
He particularly enjoys helping clients navigate the challenges of buying or selling a business. Recognising that many have spent decades building their companies, Ryan understands that transactions can be a significant and stressful milestone. He values being able to guide clients through the process and congratulate them when they reach a successful outcome.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys travelling, discovering new restaurants, following Formula 1 and photography.
A fun fact about Ryan is that he has tried fugu, the famously poisonous pufferfish, and lived to tell the tale!
