Free Employment Law Seminar Series
One of Slade’s first initiatives at Amicus Law is the launch of “Amicus Law Employment Bites” – a series of free, in-person lunchtime seminars hosted across our nine offices throughout Devon, Somerset, and Dorset.
These sessions are designed to help local employers and HR professionals navigate the upcoming changes to employment legislation, including:
- Day-one rights for unfair dismissal and flexible working
- Stronger protections for zero-hours workers
- Increases to the National Living Wage and statutory payments
Each event will provide practical guidance, open discussion, and an opportunity to network with other business leaders — all over a complimentary lunch.
Event Dates:
- 5 November – Exeter
- 12 November – Bridgwater
- 19 November – Taunton
- 26 November – Minehead
- 3 December – Weymouth
- 10 December – Wellington
- 14 January – Yeovil
- 21 January – Martock
