These record-breaking results mark another significant milestone for the firm and reflect the continued success of our long-term growth strategy. They also demonstrate the strength of our team, the value of our ongoing investment in technology and infrastructure, and the trust our clients place in us across Somerset, Devon and Dorset.
Growth Across Key Service Areas
Amicus Law has experienced substantial growth across all major practice areas, with an average increase of almost 60% in new matters compared with the same period last year.
Notable increases include:
- Commercial Law: 135%
- Employment Law: 116%
- Family Law: 39%
- Litigation: 37%
- Private Client Services: 19%
- Residential Conveyancing: 5%
These results reflect growing demand for both personal and business legal services, as well as our commitment to providing professional, practical and approachable advice.
Investing in People and the Future
As part of our continued development, the last quarter has seen several key appointments and promotions across the firm. These include the appointment of our youngest-ever Equity Partner, the promotion of our youngest Associate to Head of Office in Taunton, the recruitment of a new Head of Disputes, and the expansion of our commercial sales support team.
