Kate is a Family Executive at Amicus Law’s Weymouth office, specialising in family law. Her journey into the legal profession began unexpectedly when she was offered a position as an office junior – only to find herself starting as a trainee legal secretary on her first day. Since then, her passion for the law has only grown.
With years of experience assisting in both public and private family law cases, Kate began her formal legal training with CILEX in 2017. She has successfully completed Level 3 and is set to take her final Level 6 exams in June 2025.
One of Kate’s proudest achievements is balancing full-time work and parenthood while pursuing her legal qualifications – something she once thought might not be possible.
Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time with her family, walking along the beautiful coastal paths, and raising money for charity through sponsored walks.
