Wayne Hughes is the New Enquiries & Client Services Team Leader based in our Taunton office. He brings over a decade of experience in compliance, leadership and project coordination, having managed insurance and property-related cases throughout his career. His expertise lies in keeping complex processes on track, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting teams to deliver exceptional service. Wayne is passionate about clear communication and creating an environment where colleagues and clients feel supported.
In his role at Amicus Law, Wayne focuses on empowering his team with the tools, confidence and encouragement they need to provide the best possible client experience. He believes that by looking after his team, they in turn look after clients, creating consistency and care across the firm.
Wayne joined Amicus Law for its people-focused culture, where teamwork and support are at the heart of everything. What he enjoys most about his role is the welcoming and collaborative atmosphere, which makes coming to work a real pleasure.
He holds an ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership & Management and is a Certified Mental Health First Aider. Outside of work, Wayne is a published illustrator and regularly shares his art on YouTube under the name WBHughesArt. He enjoys attending comic conventions, films, live music, and the occasional outdoor adventure – though his one attempt at canoeing ended with the canoe at the bottom of a river!
